Dr. Christina Moore is overall a nice person but she gives a lot of homework and is very unconsiderate about attendance in her class. If you miss class 4 times throughout the course of the semester you fail the class. The work is easy but the class in general is just a waste of time.

She was a nice teacher, but being a nice teacher doesn't mean being a good professor. I took her for what should've been my easiest class, University Seminar. Despite this being a 1 credit class, she made sure we put the work in. She was always very particular about her grading and her homework often outweighed my 3 credit classes. DON'T RECOMMEND.

Great professor, love her, so nice, and she actually keep the class interesting and active. But way to much homework, there was a time she give us 10 assignments in 1 week, not kidding.

Professor Moore's class is easy, but has many assignments. We only met once a week and the other day was dedicated to work independently on assignments. She gives good feedback. The group presentation is worth a lot of points. My group got the worst grade in the class and I still managed to get an A. Just make sure to stay on top of deadlines.

This class is not hard at all. A lot of the big assignments are graded on subjective rubrics, so she will GUARANTEED make sure you stay at a 82-89 all semester so you have to take the final presentation. It is the most annoying blowoff class you'll take. The biggest assignments are back-loaded for when you're studying for 3 other exams. great.

Very unclear expectations when compared to the grading rubric she provides for assignments. Seems to nit-pick small things, whilst ignoring overall quality according to grading rubric. Most of my time was spending time on a group project that she basically failed our group on, despite us providing everything in the rubric.

Really tough grader on group projects. Chooses to nit-pick presentations for the smallest of things. Highest grades class-wide for all presentations was an 87. Also when she does lecture, what she lectures over isn't really what the book covers at all so be ready to read the entire book.

If you want an accurate description of this class go through and read every bad review!! I wish I was exaggerating but I'm not! She will not answer emails in a timely manner nor will she explain what she is looking for or give guidance! Her VBP group project is ridiculously stupid and she is THE WORST PROFESSOR AT TEXAS STATE!!!

I've never rated a professor on here but this one needed to be told. This was the most stressful class by far, with the VBP projects, tons of assignments. Then she had the nerve to want to give us 100 exams and a final speech! She doesn't even round your grade. She is not understanding whatsoever, even in a pandemic. DON'T LET HER SMILE FOOL YOU.

Complete waste of time. Basically a University Seminar for business seniors. Had to start counting people and compare to attendance because no one cares whatsoever. This class is mandatory. Everything is common sense. She makes 70k a year plus the cost of her TAs/Lab Instructors. And people wonder why college is over priced.

So many of these reviewers are missing the point entirely. As an older college student, the things you learn in this class are actually very helpful for performing in an business / office environment. She's a great teacher and the course is very simple, so it can be a good GPA boost. If you want a challenge take it as an honors course.

This class was beyond pointless. She overloaded us with way too much common sense busy work. She makes you do mock interviews where the interviewers are awful and do not provide sufficient feedback. Her lectures could be completely skipped because, again, common sense. You also have to pay $100 for 4th grade level Connect assignments. Avoid her.

She's annoying, uptight, passive aggressive, and the only lecture professor. Do NOT have your friend send you the attendance code and skip class, she will randomly check and take serious points off your overall grade. This class is a ridiculous amount of work, but tbh if you take her for lab and you actually try, you'll easily get an A.

She is very knowledgeable about business comm, but this course is awful. There is a "personal development" assignment set and they are a waste of time to say the least. A lecture that could fit into 20 minutes somehow gets stretched into an hour and 20 minutes. It seems she should practice what she preaches on "clear and CONCISE" messages..

I must comment after reading the previous two reviews, since they seem to be written by her. This professor is one of the worst at Texas State. The lectures are MANDATORY, yet it could easily be summed up in 10 minutes on your own time. She fills class time with YouTube videos and personal stories. Hardly anyone likes this class.

Awful class. Attempts to make up for lack of substance with a huge workload. Pointless lecture w/ attendance graded . Touts this course as being about "professional development" and communication, but she has unclear expectations and a course "organization" style that is both ineffective and frustrating. 350 characters can't describe how bad it is

WORST CLASS EVER! Assigns a ridiculous amount of busy work. Between class &lab, too many assignments to keep track of. Don't know where, when, or how they want everything turned in.
